ABOUT
From an early age, I was passionate about creativity, leading me to study Advertising Art and Design at Suffolk County BOCES while still in high school. I trained in traditional paste-up mechanicals and illustration techniques, mastering Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as digital design began to emerge.
During the dot-com boom, I attended F.I.T., but as web design education struggled to keep pace with industry demands, I pivoted to trade school to refine my Adobe and digital design skills. After earning my B.A. in Visual Communications (2004), I launched my career as a technical artist, specializing in environmental design and signage. Soon after, I transitioned into advertising, an experience that pushed me to grow creatively and professionally, inspiring me to earn a Master’s in Art (2009) to mentor future designers.
Over the years, I expanded into web design, UX/UI, and leadership roles, working at Profit Center Software, Perfumania, and Westgate Resorts. My expertise grew in e-commerce, branding, and digital experience design, and I eventually became an Art Director at the American Management Association (AMA), where I shaped corporate and government-focused design strategies.
Alongside my professional career, I’ve been dedicated to teaching and mentorship, serving as an adjunct professor at Briarcliffe College, C.W. Post Long Island University, and CUNY City Tech.

In 2021, I transitioned into government UX/UI, joining NOVETTA (later merged with Accenture Federal Services). This work has been one of the most rewarding of my career, as my designs now contribute to mission-critical solutions.
In 2024, I earned my UX/UI Design and Research Certification from Nielsen Norman Group (NNG), reinforcing my commitment to human-centered design and impactful user experiences.
